We spent six months building the site.
Paid for design and development.
Published over 800 articles.
And it failed.
It failed because we:
— Didn’t solve a real problem
— Had a terrible business model
— Chose the wrong audience (and market)
— Never asked for user feedback
— Focused on the wrong things
— Were full of self-doubt
No wonder it failed.
But we learned a lot about business.
And those lessons were worth MUCH more than $10k. 💰
So we:
— launched more businesses
— advised 140+ companies (like Amazon + Dropbox)
— bought and sold 3 of our own companies
…and retired at 40.
Now things are different.
